About the conference
Welcome to the official website of the International Conference on Current Trends in Materials Science and Engineering (CTMSE) 2026. CTMSE 2026, organized by the Department of Basic Science & Humanities, Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata, India. It will be held in offline mode from 25th September 2026 to 27th September 2026. After the successful execution of earlier versions of this conference, CTMSE 2026 is to bring together innovative academicians and industrial experts in the field of materials science and engineering. The conference will address advancements currently witnessed in the fields of computational materials, smart materials, graphene and other 2D materials, carbon nanostructures and devices, semiconductor devices, magnetism and spintronics, nanomaterials and nanotechnology, multifunctional materials, polymers, composite and ceramic materials, environmental and green materials, nanobiotechnology, and nanomedicine. This conference aims to bring together the best of globally renowned research professionals. It will include talks and keynote lectures delivered by eminent speakers besides scientific paper presentations and poster contributions. We hope and believe that our international conference, ‘CTMSE 2026’ will prove to be a great learning opportunity and an enriching experience for all the participants. English is the official language of the conference. We welcome abstract and paper submissions. Papers presented in the conference will be submitted for inclusion into the Conference Abstract Booklet. After peer review and presentation in the conference, all selected full-length papers submitted will be published in Scopus-indexed conference proceedings.

CTMSE is a platform for the presentation of new advances and research results in the fields of materials science and engineering. The conference will bring together leading scientists, researchers and scholars in their domain of interest in materials science and engineering from around the world. Topics of interest for submission include, but not limited to.
Abstracts are invited from students, researchers, Post Docs for oral and poster presentations at the conference.
Category 1: Presentation and Scopus-Indexed Publication Participants opting for publication in Scopus-indexed proceedings should submit a full-length paper by the due date.
Category 2: Presentation without Publication Participants who want to present without publication may not submit the full-length manuscript.
PS: All papers will be subjected to rigorous peer review, and the decision of the editor will be considered final for the acceptance of the manuscripts.

Conference Registration Fees (per person) for categories 1 and 2:
Category 1 (Presentation and Scopus indexed Publication): All participants must pay the appropriate conference registration fee as mentioned in the conference registration fees table. In addition, there will be additional Scopus indexed conference publication fees as set by our publication partner.
Category 2 (Presentation without Publication): All participants must pay the appropriate conference registration fee as mentioned in the conference registration fees table. There is no additional fee for category 2.
